Hi and welcome to my blog...thanks for stopping by.  I have had a passion for all things retro and vintage for as long as I can remember although over the years I was labelled as "sentimental" and "nostalgic".  From as young as I can remember I have embraced the old days of glamour - it all began with my very large collection of old perfume bottles, each one I would clutch and imagine who had held it before me, who had emptied it's wonderful contents, when were the divine contents sprayed - an everyday ritual along with the hair set, the rouge, the powder puff.....or saved for only special occasions, the Saturday night dance, the theatre, the cinema....?  Our family also had a Sunday afternoon ritual following church in the morning, a visit to the hot bread shop for lunch and then home to watch a movie on TV - always a golden oldie as we called them - colour, black and white, the classics, the dancing, the singing....oh such joy.  So here I am a few (ahem) years later and the passion has grown even stronger and the desire and love for all that is vintage and retro is part of me, part of my life.  I do hope you enjoy the little gems of vintage goodness I come across and share.
